Is it time to replace your car carpet?
The carpet in your vehicle takes more abuse than almost any other part of the interior. Winter boots, road salt, slush, spilled drinks and years of foot traffic all leave their mark, and eventually cleaning stops working. When that happens, new carpet is often the change that makes the whole interior feel fresh again. Mark's Auto Trim replaces and installs car carpet for customers in Oshawa, Durham Region and the GTA.
Common signs that carpet is ready to be replaced include:
- Worn, thin or frayed areas, especially under the driver's feet
- Stains and salt marks that no longer come out with cleaning
- A musty smell or dampness that returns after the carpet has dried

- Damage left behind by a leak or by earlier repair work

Salt and slush are carried into the vehicle on every trip, and moisture that soaks into the carpet and underlay can stay there for a long time. Over several winters that can mean stains, odours and a stiff, worn surface. What we do
We remove the worn carpet, prepare the floor and install replacement carpet so that it fits around the seat mounts, console and trim. Because we also handle seat covers and seat repair, headliners and other interior work, you can refresh several parts of the interior in one visit instead of dealing with different shops. What to expect
- Tell us about the vehicle. Call or send a request with the year, make and model and a description of the carpet's condition. Photos help.
- Talk through your options. We discuss what is possible for your vehicle and provide a quote for the work.
- Bring the vehicle in. Our shop is at 712 Wilson Road South, Unit 15, Oshawa, open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Pick up a refreshed interior. We let you know when the work is finished and the vehicle is ready.
